Killer Whales & Bremer Canyon Western Australia

‘Australia’s only dedicated Killer Whale tourism experience’
The Bremer Canyon is the only place in Australia where tourists can experience large pods of Killer Whales, active in one location.

Experience this amazing gathering of marine creatures in the remote Southern Ocean. A unique wonder! Sit back and relax as we do the driving. View Australia’s largest collection of marine creatures, including killer whales, feeding together at the Bremer Canyon from January to April every year.

Our dedicated Busy Blue Bus Tour Guide Driver will entertain you with stories of our region’s unique history en-route from Albany to Bremer Bay where you will join the expedition vessel to journey out to the remote Bremer Canyon for an awesome marine wildlife experience.  You will not only see an amazing wildlife spectacle, but also learn about the research programme which aims to study the vocalisations of Killer Whales and their interaction with other marine creatures.  After a day at sea, relax in comfort, enjoy a nap and let us take care of the driving, returning you safely to Albany after an exhilarating day.

Charter Busy Blue Bus transport services

A first for Busy Blue Bus, we began discussions to film a television commercial for the Seven Network this year to promote our charter transport services. In June we contracted the fabulous Green man Media Productions based here in Albany to produce this for us.

A first for Busy Blue Bus, we began discussions to film a television commercial for the Seven Network this year to promote our charter transport services.  In June we contracted the fabulous Green man Media Productions based here in Albany to produce this for us.

The concept behind our 15 second commercial was to showcase our charter hire services for community groups and events.  Each person exiting from our Yutong bus represents a social group we work with regularly: School Groups, Special Events, Corporate Groups, Festivals, Arts Groups and  Sports Teams.  With a view to highlight our versatility for carrying difference group sizes and equipment on our vehicles.

With the idea confirmed we needed local people to star in our advert.  A call out on our Facebook page for some local personalities lead to us filling a number of these spots, with a special thanks to Lincolns Accountants, Passmore Cycles and Bob’s Bikes for loaning us their staff members for the morning of the filming.

Filming took place at Eyre Park on Thursday 8th June and took less than an hour to complete.  Following a quick briefing to everyone involved a few takes were filmed.  The commercial was filmed as one continuous take to limit the amount of editing required.

The above images are from the filming process of our commercial.  We had a lot of fun, learnt a lot and had a beautiful sunny morning out of the office.

Our commercial aired on channel seven on Sunday 16th July during the coverage of the Fremantle Dockers and West Coast Eagles football game.  Over a 12 week schedule our commercial will appear across the Seven Network along the South Coast of WA 220 times!  If you are yet to catch our commercial on your television have a look at the video below.
