Terms & Conditions


Busy Blue Bus Tours operates with a minimum number of passengers on all tour and transport products as follows:

  • Day Tours:     2 passenger minimum
  • Short Breaks Packages:     2 passenger minimum
  • Bremer Bay Transport:      3 passenger minimum
  • Event Transport Services & Shuttles:     Determined per event, please check details of the product in the description or contact us for further information.

All bookings must be made a minimum 18 hours prior to tour departure date and time. All bookings must be paid for in full at time of booking. Bookings not paid within 18 hours of travel departure, may be cancelled. All fares are accurate at the time of printing and updated annually. Tickets are non-transferrable. Booking amendment fees may apply to group bookings.  Courtesy pick-up arrangements must be made at the time of booking (these are only available on set tours). All prices referred to are in Australian Dollars and include GST (Government Goods & Services Tax).


A valid concession card must be presented when purchasing a concession ticket and when boarding the coach. The travel date must fit within the ‘valid to’ date of the concession card.  Concessions rates apply in the following way:

Concession rate Valid holders of a Pension card, Student card or Commonwealth Healthcare card
Accompanied Child Aged 16 years or under
Family 2 adults and 2 children aged 16 years or under


Age Restrictions

Children are not permitted on tours unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. There is no age restriction on day tours, however where a child requires an additional seat restraining device, this should be advised at time of booking.

Courtesy Pick Up & Drop Off

We pick up from locations around the Albany CBD (within 20km) and return to the same pick up point at the conclusion of the tour.

Payment Methods

Payment may be made either by credit card or direct deposit. Our bank account details will be provided on request. We accept major credit cards. Please be sure you have read and accepted our terms and conditions prior to sending your payment.  Trade distributors will be invoiced monthly.

Please Note: If paying EFTPOS or Credit Card either at our Office Terminal or through one of our online payment gateways, please be advised that a surcharge will be applied to the transaction.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a booking or part thereof will incur the fees listed below. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.

  • > 48 hours – full refund
  • < 48 hours – no refund

No refund is given if a passenger fails to board service.

Bookings can be open-dated for up to 12 months from purchase date or transferred to another service up until 18 hours prior to the service departure time.

Any cancellation or amendment to a booking must be made in writing ie email with phone number.

If your booking is made through a booking agent their cancellation fees may differ to the above and will be additional to these terms and conditions.


Travel Insurance

Busy Blue Bus Tours requires passengers to be aware of the importance of travel insurance when traveling. We strongly advise to take out travel and cancellation insurance to cover against cancellation costs, lost or damaged luggage or costs incurred from injury or illness.


No liability can be taken by Busy Blue Bus Tours, the Owner/Operators or any of its affiliates in case of, but not limited to, damage to personal belongings, personal loss, theft, injury or sickness whilst participating in designated activities. Valuables should be kept with the passenger at all times. Busy Blue Bus Tours reserves the right to alter the route, itinerary or to cancel the operation if road, weather or other conditions dictate. Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger as a result of any curtailment, delay or alteration of any tour, whether caused by flooding, fire, road closure, mechanical defect or any other causes, are the responsibility of the passenger.

Busy Blue Bus Tours and/or its employees are unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure times at any stage of a tour and are not liable for any failure to make connections with any other services, or guarantee the operation of any 3rd party service. In the event of break down or other unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to substitute vehicles other than specified to ensure the continued operation of the tour.

Service Cancellations

Busy Blue Bus services maybe cancelled at any time due to unforeseen operational circumstances and/or as a result of natural disasters, e.g. cyclones, flooding, operational requirements, etc.  Busy Blue Bus Tours cannot be responsible for any costs incurred by passengers as a result of cancelled services. Any costs incurred by passengers as a result of cancellations will be borne solely by the passenger. Affected sectors of passenger bookings will be open- dated for future use and remain valid until used or for 12 months from the date of first purchase, whichever is sooner.


Busy Blue Bus Tours recommends passengers are at their departure point 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Smoking/ Alcohol/ Drugs

Smoking, drinking of alcohol and taking or transporting non-prescription drugs is not permitted aboard a Busy Blue Bus at any time.

Passenger Behaviour

Busy Blue Bus Tours reserves the right to refuse travel to a passenger who does not abide by a minimum dress standard of shirt, trousers/shorts/skirt and footwear.  Intoxicated passengers may be refused travel, at driver discretion.  Violent, disorderly and/or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and any person behaving in this way may be refused entry to the coach or may be removed from a service. Any costs incurred as a result of this action will be borne by the passenger.


Busy Blue Bus Tours strictly refuse the transportation of any live stock or domestic animals on board and or stowed in our luggage compartment. Transportation in this instance is classified as a breach of the “Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines” and the “RSPCA Policy for the Transportation of animals”. Service animals such as seeing eye dogs are permitted to travel on board with passengers who have certified approval.

Persons requiring assisted travel with a Companion Dog are permitted to travel with the appropriate certification on Busy Blue Bus Tours services. Companion dogs will require a valid identification card issued by a training organisation prescribed under the Dog Regulations 2013. Companion Dogs must have a suitably marked identifying dog coat or harness. Luggage Restrictions

Day Tours: small carry-on bag. A few small things are recommended to make your trip more enjoyable; hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, warm clothing and rain jacket, water bottle (1L), camera with LOTS of memory and battery.


To cater for all dietary requirement including vegetarian, gluten free please advise when booking (a small surcharge may apply). Water is provided in all vehicles.

Digital Media Consent & Release

While on tour our staff or other passengers may take video, audio or digital photos of passengers which may then be used to promote our business or be used in social media posts.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are giving Busy Blue Bus Tours permission to use this material for any purpose which meets our primary criteria as a tour operator.
